Divine Feminine

The Divine Feminine is derived from the concept that “men and women” are not opposites, but exist as complementary energies alongside each other. False “gender binary” beliefs over time have evolved as a tool for separation with many colonial approaches to gender which have routinely devalued the feminine existence. Bright acrylic paint is used in conjunction with Japanese imagery to remind us that, I am not feminine, you are not masculine - I am both, you are both, in every setting, every moment and within every person.

Traditionally, feminine energy is linked to fertility, but in no sense needs to be limited too. Growth, whether it's spiritual, physical or emotional, is dependent on feminine energy, in that, we give life to something that was not there before.
